David Mugar is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mugar Enterprises Inc., Co-founder of BRC, and a well-known New England businessman and philanthropist. He has more than 30 years of experience in developing and managing commercial real estate, including hotels, a regional mall, several shopping centers, office and industrial space, and an assisted living complex. Mr. Mugar, in partnership with Don Law and Blackstone Entertainment, is involved with the ownership and management of a variety of entertainment ventures in the greater Boston area, including the Harborlights and Tweeter Center entertainment venues and NEXT ticket agency. Mr. Mugar also oversees equity and bond investments, retail businesses, venture capital and other closely held investments. He previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of New England Television Corporation, which owned and operated CBS affiliate Channel 7 in Boston as well as an NBC-affiliated radio station.
